Call to all the start-ups !

Hey there FoodHack Amsterdam community,

🌞 Energized from our last event on AI and Foodtech we are planning a new get-together in Amsterdam for April! 🌞

While brainstorming about topics we realized that we would love to give the floor to all the amazing start-ups that compose the Foodtech ecosystem here in the Netherlands. 🌱 Thanks to a promising partner, we have the opportunity to reunite together for a pitching night in a beautiful space in Amsterdam. 🎉 

For this evening to happen it is important that we understand how many of you would be excited to take part! If you are a start-up founder and interested in pitching, please register below by filling out the form:

Recap 🎤: Food Revolutions: The intersection of AI and FoodTech

🔐 Building trust is key: even though customer expectations are rising because of AI, how their data is handled remains a sensitive subject. The same goes for businesses collaborating: everyone needs to benefit from data sharing. Federated learning is an interesting way to ensure involved actors keep their data safe.

🫱🏼‍🫲🏾 Start-ups collaborating with larger corporations need to think about how their idea supports the core business of the latter. Too often start-ups offer ideas competing with the core value of corporations.

💡 When building a business around AI start-ups need to look at their model in terms of:
Quality - It can take a few years to build enough qualitative data to make a model valuable.
Integration - Think about how to integrate your system with other corporations from the start.
Usability - AI is not a good solution if its adoption is not made easy and seamless for the end-user.
