How can we accelerate the transition to Regenerative Agriculture?
🚨Registrations are opened - secure your spot here 🚨

Regenerative agriculture is gaining momentum as a transformative approach to food production, but why is it important and how can we accelerate the transition from conventional farming? As concerns over soil health, biodiversity, and climate resilience grow, this movement is redefining how we cultivate land - not just for higher yields, but for long-term sustainability and ecosystem restoration.

During this event, by leveraging the experience of two outstanding opinion leaders in this space, we will explore how to measure the benefits of regenerative agriculture, what the impact of investing in farmers practicing the principles of agroecology is and what is needed to accelerate this transition, moving away from one-size-fits-all approach.

This session aims at offering a clearer understanding of regenerative agriculture and inspiring each of us to contribute to this transition. Whether you’re a farmer, investor, research or food industry professional, sign up here to join us in this meaningful journey!

🔥Speakers🔥

Fernando Russo is the founder of Meraki Impact, an impact investing company dedicated to transforming food systems and scaling regenerative agriculture. His career path has been anything but conventional. Starting in sales and marketing, he began by selling beer at AmBev and working as a marketer for Playboy. But his curiosity led him to soon launch his own business, combining his passion for travel with his marketing expertise. Ultimately, his search for deeper purpose and love for nature inspired him to create Meraki Impact, supporting the growth of companies that help farmers make more money, not in the ones that sell products to them.

Alberto Miti has been working at the intersection of regenerative agriculture, food systems, and ecology at The Lexicon, a US NGO that is building a common language for food systems. As the Associate Director, Alberto has been around the world creating information artworks to tell the story of solutions and the people hard at work to implement them for a healthier, more holistic food system. Alberto has contributed to the Activator program and the Ecological Benefits Framework as a key information designer and facilitator. Prior to joining the Lexicon, Alberto was part of the Future of Food Institute and led sustainable urban regeneration projects at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

The event is free but registration is necessary. You can save your spot here.

For this event, we are lucky to collaborate with three amazing sponsors:

  • The Conscious Hotel has generously provided the venue for this event. Their philosophy blends stylish design and playfulness with sustainability - what they call Eco-Sexy, and we couldn’t agree more. Their commitment to sustainability is reflected in every detail, from thoughtful notes in the rooms explaining the recycled furniture and water-saving showers to their organic food and beverage offerings.

  • Mojo Mate is a Dutch brand crafting refreshing, caffeinated drinks made from organic yerba mate in a variety of flavors. Their mate leaves are grown on a 100% regenerative plantation in the vibrant Brazilian forest, free from chemicals and carefully hand-picked to preserve their natural qualities. During the event, you’ll have the chance to taste their incredible drinks.

  • Favamole is a Dutch startup redefining guacamole with a sustainable twist—using locally grown, nutrient-rich fava beans instead of avocados. Their dedication to regenerative agriculture sets them apart, ensuring a product that is not only better for the planet but also deliciously bold, fresh, and packed with flavor. Their unique take on guacamole proves you won’t miss the traditional version at all.

Last, but not least, the organization of the event would not have been possible without the support of SlowFood Amsterdam.
